Cookie & Tracking Notice

Last updated May 20, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Jireh Ventures, Inc., doing business as Yokly ("Yokly", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit https://yokly.gives (the "Site"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information more broadly.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits and store certain information about your preferences or actions.

We also use similar technologies such as web beacons (clear GIFs), pixel tags, and local storage. For simplicity, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

2. HOW WE USE COOKIES

We use cookies to:

  • Ensure the Site functions correctly and securely.
  • Remember your preferences and settings between visits.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and communications.
  • Prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, sell data to third parties, or track you across unrelated websites.

3. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to work. They enable core functions like page navigation, secure areas, and form submissions. You cannot opt out of these cookies as the Site cannot function properly without them.

Examples include session identifiers, CSRF protection tokens, and load-balancing cookies.

Analytics & Performance Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site — which pages are visited most, where visitors come from, and where they exit. All data collected is aggregated and anonymous.

We use Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics) for this purpose. Data collected may be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers.

Preference / Functional Cookies

These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make — such as your preferred language or region — so we can provide a more personalised experience on return visits. Disabling these may mean some features do not work as expected.

Marketing & Targeting Cookies

We may use cookies placed by third-party advertising platforms to measure the effectiveness of campaigns we run (for example, ad click attribution). These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

You can opt out of marketing cookies at any time using the preference controls described in Section 5.

4. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Some cookies on our Site are set by third-party services we use. These parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:

  • Google / Firebase — Analytics, hosting, and performance monitoring. Google Privacy Policy
  • GoHighLevel (GHL) — CRM and booking modal embedded on the Site. GHL may set cookies when you interact with booking or contact flows. GHL Privacy Policy
  • Sentry — Error monitoring. Sentry collects session and error context to help us diagnose technical issues.

We do not control these third-party cookies and cannot accept responsibility for the respective privacy policies of these services. We encourage you to read each third party’s cookie policy directly.

5. MANAGING YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES

You have several options for controlling cookies:

Browser settings

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refer to your browser’s help documentation for instructions:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Note that blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working correctly, including booking flows and contact forms.

Google Analytics opt-out

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Email us

For requests to exercise your data rights in relation to cookies or tracking, contact us at privacy@yokly.gives.

6. COOKIE RETENTION

Cookies vary in how long they remain on your device:

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (typically 30 days to 2 years) unless you delete them manually or they expire.

We regularly review the cookies we use and remove those that are no longer necessary.

7. DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. Because there is no industry-wide standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our Site does not currently change its behaviour in response to DNT requests. We will revisit this position if a recognised standard is adopted.

8. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or changes in law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
